Decisions must be made…

Since today is the first day of the end to my 20′s, I reverted to childhood and visited Walt Disney World.  It was great to finally be able to Colleen and Michelle.  It was even better that I spent it with the Husband.  It was the very first time ever we were able to celebrate my birthday together.  Normally he is out of the country.  I hope that this is the first of many birthdays that we can celebrate together.

]]> http://www.ashleystravel.com/2009/02/day-1-happy-birthday-to-me/feed/ 0 I Signed Up for My First 5k! http://www.ashleystravel.com/2008/04/i-signed-up-for-my-first-5k/ http://www.ashleystravel.com/2008/04/i-signed-up-for-my-first-5k/#comments Sat, 12 Apr 2008 01:17:53 +0000 Ashley http://www.ashleystravel.com/blog/?p=181 I finally did it.  I finally signed up and paid money for my first 5k.  I am going to be traveling to Orlando in September for the Expedition Everest Challenge.  Technically, it is a bit more than a 5k.  First, you get to run a 5k in Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World.  Next, you head into the parking lot for an obstacle course.  Finally, you head back into the park for a scavenger hunt.  Doesn’t that sound like a blast?!?  And you get to do it in teams, so the Husband and I will actually be doing the Challenge together.

I am actually hoping to participate in a 5k before then, probably once I move to Tennessee.  But if nothing else, I am committed to doing this one in a few months.  Plus it means the Husband has to take me to Disney again.  Yeah!
