I am starting to realize that I take way too many pictures of my Buddha! I find it hard to remember to take non-dog shots. I think I did pretty good this time. I even threw in a bonus shot. Technically Buddha in the grass and the mushroom both were taken yesterday. But he is so cute, how could you pass up that shot?

So I went out a purchased a card reader so I could get all of my pictures off of my CompactFlash cards. So here are almost all of rest of the pictures, including yesterday’s picture from my dinner at Nama with Nadia and Zara and today’s YLD lunch at Lemongrass. I am starting to think I have a sushi addiction. And in all of my cleaning and rearranging, I seem to have lost at least two memory cards. So I am still short 10 photos. Oh Ashley!

Day 119 – Day 182

Obviously this is not a full 63 days of photographic genius. Since my Canon DSLR is in a comatose state, and since that is what I use to transfer images off of my CF cards, I am out any pictures I have taken with the DSLR (for now). So enjoy the images that I have been able to take:

Now that I have internet, I hope to get back to blogging on a regular basis. Obviously I have taken lots of pictures over the last couple of months. The bad news: I’ve lost my DSLR! I know… I am very very anxious about this loss. It was in a bag with all the memory cards (I’m assuming since all those are gone too). I have just been doing so much cleaning and rearranging and throwing things away that I have no clue where it moved to. I have been through every closet and drawer in this house and in all the open boxes in the basement. No luck. Today my mom is doing the same; offering her fresh pair of eyes. Here is hoping that we find it soon. Otherwise, I’ll have a little bit to show you from my compact camera that practically never leaves my side.

My friend, Erin from the Knoxville Bookclub, got married today. It was a beautiful wedding and I was delighted to have a beautiful date, Carrie (also from Bookclub).

A night of sushi at Wasabi (the one by Turkey Creek). The only thing is that it ended up making me sick! Even my friend who ate their the next night got sick. Why do you do this to me Wasabi?

Day 72: Rosebush

There is a rosebush on the side of The House and it has bloomed a bit more every day. It is so beautiful! And in more house news, the bank meeting was today to get the whole money thing going. It has been over six months since the pre-approval by the bank, so the process pretty much starts over again. Jennifer, the mortgage lady, said she doesn’t think there should be a problem at all. We plan on closing in 3.5 weeks, as the appraisers are backed up and we have to wait for some final repairs before we can send them over. Eek! I am so excited!

Day 71: Decorating Begins

It is suppose to be bad luck to decorate your house before you own it, but I just can’t resist. The contract has been signed and the bank meeting is tomorrow. Unless the financing falls through, the house is all mine and I’ll be in about 2 weeks. So today I headed over to the mall on my break to find some bedding for the master bedroom. This was one of my choices, but not the winner. You won’t see that until later…
