Today I found out I have successfully been able to crash my hard drive in my laptop for the third time in less than 2 years. And that doesn’t include the external hard drive I have also crashed once. How am I able to accomplish such a thing? I’m a klutz! I drop my laptop, knock it off the table or drop things on it. I am starting to think its a skill…
This time, not only does the hard drive have to be replaced, but the whole entire casing! That is just how much I am progressing in my klutzy behavior. I have to ship my computer back to Dell and get it put back together again. Want to see some of the damage?

Yes, I do have skills.

Apologies to everyone. I have been swamped with work when I am in town but mainly I have been out of town. This year has already been filled with so many vacations the rest of the year will bore in comparison. But no worries, I hope to be posting regularly now that I will be in town for awhile!

Well I’m a day late, but guess who is 30?!?
That is right. Yours truly has made it to another decade of her life. This week I have already been busy celebrating at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and right now I am waiting to board a cruise ship to Cozumel. I’ll let you know how everything went next week!

The holidays were wonderful here in East Tennessee. My sister and her two adorable children and one rotten dog stayed with me for Christmas. Buddha had so much fun with Kane (the afore-mentioned rotten dog) and after they left Buddha pouted for days. That made me realize it was time to grow the family and yesterday I brought home a surprise:
Kamma! A 10 week old, 12 pound, Australian Cattle Dog and German Shepherd mix. Let the fun begin!

For those of you who have known me for the last 10 or so years, you know that I have only had my hair cut professionally about three times. not that my hair hasn’t been cut, I would just do it myself.
Well since I am on a quest to get my hair past the middle of my back, I have found it incredibly hard to trim it myself. Luckily, my office neighbor is Lisa Thomas Salon. Double luckily, she has good hair and is always busy with clients with good hair. Thankfully, I was able to get an appointment today. And I love the results! What do you think?
