Daily Joy: Cooking for my Family

Not only do I absolutely love cooking, but I love cooking for my loved ones.  About two months ago, my mother decided that she was going to be vegan.  Now I am behind that 100%, as I have given it thought on occasion and have even been vegetarian a few times in my life (I [...]

Day 116

Taken on June 12, 2009

A night of sushi at Wasabi (the one by Turkey Creek).  The only thing is that it ended up making me sick!  Even my friend who ate their the next night got sick.  Why do you do this to me Wasabi?

Day 62: Brunch at Tomato Head

After a very rough morning, I met up with Zara for some brunch at The Tomato Head.  Boy is it crowded at 1 pm on a Sunday!  I noticed that they put a few of my favorite things on a pizza (smoked salmon, capers, red onions), that I had to give Number Twenty-one a [...]

Chicken Soft Tacos

For dinner tonight, I already had the multi-grain Mission tortillas, pineapple-mango salsa and shredded Mexian blend cheese. I really like this combination, especially the pineapple-mango salsa. It combines the sweetness of the fruit with the salty of the cheese and chicken. Also, the multi-grain tortillas were a bit on the sweet side. All around a [...]
