Before I Hit 30 Days

I am skating dangerously close to 30 days between blog posts.  Oops!  But here I am to take care of that!

There has been a lot of things going on in my life over the past 26 days.  One of the biggest events was that Jury Trial I mentioned a little while ago.  I like to think it was a success, though I lost.  The deck was stacked against my client and we were only there because we were not offered a deal.  So when it takes a jury four hours to reach a decision on such a strong case, you consider that a success.  I’ll post more about that later, but now I can proudly say I am looking forward to my next trial!

Of course, there was Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving is always a little bit hard for me because of Thanksgivings Past.  Primarily, a couple of years ago when my Uncle Dennis unexpectedly passed away the day after Thanksgiving.  But I am continuously thankful for all of my family who celebrate with me every year.

People have moved in and out of my life in the last 3 1/2 weeks.  I’ve had friends move away (miss you Carrie!).  I’ve reconnected with people who I haven’t heard from in almost a decade (Ralf is on Facebook???).  And I’ve made new friends that I hope will be in my life for a very long time to come.

Yes, the past 26 days have been very good to me.  Lets hope the next 26 are even better!
