Well it has been a great couple of days in Vancouver. To be honest with you, I have been down right lazy. I even ordered delivery from a sushi restaurant two blocks over. But otherwise I have made up for it, walking all over Vancouver and biking Stanley Park. I have been having a great, relaxing time. And soon I will be boarding the Carnival Spirit over at Canada Place and heading off to Alaska and accomplishing my goal of visiting all 50 states before I turn 30. Yeah!
Though things haven’t been all smooth sailing. I forgot to pack things (as I always do) so I now am the proud owner of a new pair of sunglasses and a bottle of 60 SPF. It is suppose to be sunny in Alaska. And the ATM machine ate my card. It is my own fault because the one I brought with me expired at the end of August and I forgot to pack and validate my new one. Don’t worry about me, though. I have enough cash and credit to get me through the rest of the trip. Just trying to avoid the credit card foreign exchange fees.
And on to Buddha news: my poor little puppy did injure his knee and it will require surgery and the addition of a pin. He actually should be coming out of surgery about the same time I am boarding the cruise ship. I wish I could be there for my puppy, but I know that my Mom and Dad are doing a great job taking care of him while I am gone.
So to bring a smile back to your face, here are some Vancouver pics:
