Day 21: Cafe 4

That is the dish I had for dinner tonight: Chicken and Waffles from Cafe 4 in Knoxville.  I was hoping for something a little closer to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles (which are the best ever and I now know I will never find a replacement).  These were mediocre at best.  My waffles taste better, Lee’s Fried Chicken tastes better, but Cafe 4 wins with the fried green beans.  It was like an onion ring without the onion.  My tummy appreciated that.

    I know! I saw it chicken and waffles on the menu and hoped that they were close to Roscoe’s. I may be in Anaheim in June and plan on taking Herman to bath in Roscoe’s delight.
