Since the Husband is leaving Sunday for a month in Brazil, we decided to spend tonight celebrating our 1 1/2 year anniversary, Valentine’s Day and my birthday. We always celebrate an anniversary by going to a new sushi place. Tonight it was Sushi Time in The Castro. I had some Miso Soup to start off the night, then we split the Rainbow Roll, the Hello Kitty Roll and the Spicy Tako Roll.

The sushi was reasonably priced, but in my mind, a bit smaller than what I am use to. They were all heavy on the veggies on the inside. The quality of fish was good, but I have had fresher elsewhere (Sushi Zone I love you!!!). Over all, there are other, better sushi places nearby that I will go to next time.
After the sushi fun, we headed over to Citizen Cake for desserts to take home. The Husband got the chocolate chip cookie and I went with the Tantini Bacci Petite Gateau. It was a hazelnut mousse cake. The cake part was a bit more dry than the last petite gateau I had from Citizen Cake, but the hazelnut mousse made up for it. The Husband said the cookie was nothing outstanding, and I would have to agree.
